Research institutes

Research in the ceramic field produces innovations for many areas in which ceramic products are used due to their unique properties.

The membership of the research institutes is the basis for networking scientific research with daily industrial practice. Through the exchange between these different areas and the dialogue between industry and research institutes, the DKG promotes the rapid transfer of scientific findings into industrial practice.
DKG also supports project applications for collaborative industrial research conducted by the DKG-affiliated but independent Forschungsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Keramischen Gesellschaft e.V. (FDKG)
