The DKG FG 2 provides a platform for the exchange of experience between universities, research institutes and industry. In addition to a symposium at the DKG annual meeting, one or two further events on special topics are held each year.

The main topics are:
  • Ceramic functional materials for electronic and electrotechnical applications (dielectrics, ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, thermistors, ferrites ...)

  • Ceramic multilayer technology (HTCC, LTCC, ULTCC)
  • Ceramic materials and components for power electronics
  • Ceramic materials for optical applications
  • Technologies for the manufacturing and integration of ceramic components for electronic applications
